The Story of Joiass

Joiass Jewellery was born from a quest to discover new horizons in the startup scene and a desire to add value to the world. The name "Joiass" has its roots in a simple conversation between Marcos J. and the (Founder of Joiass Jewelry | Hanna Bohm). When asked how to write 'jewelry' in Portuguese, Marcos replied, "Joias." Inspired by this, the brand Joiass was created by Hannah Bohm, embodying the elegance and significance of jewelry.

Marcos, CMO of Joiass Jewelry by then and an avid campaigner, spent considerable time in the picturesque demi-island of Búzios, Rio de Janeiro. With three cars branded with the name JOIASS.com, he became known as the jeweler in the local community. The nickname "Joiass," meaning jewelry in Portuguese, naturally stuck with him.

During the challenging pandemic season, when many families faced financial hardship, Marcos brought together a group of hardworking women, offering them opportunities to work sustainably and support their families. This initiative not only provided economic relief but also ensured that the jewelry was crafted with love and fairness.
